The Epic Voyage is a hands-on sailing adventure for those who want to move from passenger to participant. You'll be actively involved, taking the helm, trimming sails, and navigating under the guidance of our expert skipper.

This journey comes in two distinct formats: a 2-week Explorer and a 3-week Odyssey. Both share the same spirit and philosophy, but unfold at a different rhythm and across different horizons.

We trade the usual tourist routes for authentic exploration, balancing nights under the stars in secluded bays with the vibrant life of timeless Aegean ports. It’s a journey defined by discovery, camaraderie, and the unique satisfaction of understanding the sea and the boat beneath you.

Perfect
for:

> Friends seeking a challenging, and rewarding experience

> Active adventurers bored of standard tours

> Learners-by-doing who want to understand sailing from the inside out

> Everyone who believes the true joy is found in the journey itself—in the feel of the helm, the shared effort of a perfect tack, and the laughter among crew as the miles pass by

The
Essence
  • Fall asleep under the stars, soothed by the water in Greece’s most remote and beautiful coves.

  • Navigate toward hidden bays, quiet villages, and untouched corners of the Aegean that few ever see.

  • Move beyond being a passenger. Take the helm, trim the sails, and participate in every maneuver on board.

  • Experience the unique camaraderie of life at sea and strengthen bonds through shared effort and discovery.

Mihail, lead instructor at Sailing Flavors.

Your Skipper

On an Epic Voyage, your skipper is more than a captain, he is a mentor and a guide dedicated to the long haul. You will be led by Mihail, a true adventurer at heart, bringing with him the quiet confidence of over 30,000 nautical miles.

His role is to manage the navigation and the rhythm of the boat while building the crew’s confidence and spirit. As a patient, easy-going teacher who has faced the open ocean, Mihail is committed to sharing his world with you. He doesn't just navigate; he helps you truly connect with the sea, making the voyage an unforgettable shared adventure.

The Food

A Crew Ritual

The Epic Voyage has no dedicated chef on board. Instead, provisioning is a shared adventure and cooking is a crew activity. We’ll stock up on fresh, local ingredients, and everyone will take turns in the galley, a fantastic way to bond, share skills, and enjoy the simple pleasure of a home-cooked meal after a day at sea.

This rhythm is punctuated by unforgettable evenings ashore. We’ll dine at some of our favorite family-owned tavernas, where the food is as authentic as the welcome.
