Docking demands a specific kind of mastery. This intensive course focuses on high-stakes, close-quarters maneuvers where precision is everything. Our curriculum places you in real-world scenarios to master advanced docking, anchoring in crowded bays, and Mediterranean mooring in challenging conditions.
Through hands-on drills, you will learn to read the wind, use your engine's power intentionally, and make clear, decisive calls when it matters most.
You’ll train on a modern 45–49ft monohull in the Saronic Gulf with a crew of just 6 people, ensuring maximum time at the helm to turn theory into muscle memory.

Perfect
for:
> Newly certified skippers ready to translate theory into real-world control
> Confidence-seeking charterers tired of pre-trip docking anxiety
> Boat owners determined to handle their vessel with precision in any situation
> Sailing partners and couples building the teamwork needed for seamless marina maneuvers

What
You`ll
Learn
Discover the boat's sweet spot for turning.
Mastering this concept allows you to spin your boat gracefully in a tight space, as if on a dime.
Learn to dance with any dock, in any situation.
We break down the precise techniques for docking side-to (alongside a pier), stern-to (Mediterranean style), and using spring lines to pivot, hold position, or gracefully depart in challenging conditions.
Use your propeller's hidden power.
Learn to intentionally use the sideways thrust (prop walk) and the powerful stream of water (prop wash) to your advantage for precise maneuvers.
Anchoring under pressure, not just in an open bay.
Practice setting and retrieving your anchor in crowded anchorages and challenging conditions, ensuring a restful night anywhere.
Master the stern-to docking.
We'll break down the steps of a Mediterranean mooring—setting the anchor, tying off the stern.
The secret sauce for a smooth operation.
Learn and practice clear, calm command language and procedures that keep your crew coordinated and calm when the pressure is on.
